Slow Burn is aural pleasure in the form of Indian horror, fantasy and sci-fi stories with romantic subplots. Each season will feature a new story featuring Indian characters and you are guaranteed a sizzling, passionate and romantic audio tale set in a variety of speculative fiction settings - dystopian futures, spaceships, haunted houses, a war featuring witches and mages - the possibilities are endless.
Slow Burn is written, narrated and produced by Commonwealth Short Story Prize and DWL Story Prize winning writer Nikesh Murali. Nikesh has received honourable mentions for the Katha Short Story Prize twice and has been nominated twice for Townsville Arts Award in Writing.
Nikesh is the author of a multi award winning, Amazon bestselling short story collection 'The Killing fields'. His novel 'His Night Begins', which was praised by Crime Fiction Lover magazine for its 'terse action scenes and brutal energy', was released to critical acclaim and earned him the tag of the 'most hardboiled of Indian crime writers' from World Literature Today journal.

His poetry was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2007.
